Scoured Carpet Grade
Georgian raw wool shorn from the local sheep breed called Tushuri is naturally white with a shiny texture. This wool is sought after by carpet yarn manufacturers around the world for its durability, strength and brightness. Widely used in blending with low rank wool fibres to enhance quality and appearance.
The greasy wool is washed in a state-of-the-art scouring plant with eco-friendly chemicals to achieve the highest quality and preserve the wool’s natural characteristics.
